Definition about Mind
The mind is a term usually used to refer to the functions of the brain, including:
- Ability to perceive;
- Have emotions;
- Store and access memories;
- Display intelligence and will.
Historically, there has been contentious debate about whether mind arises wholly from brain, or whether some functions (such as consciousness or free will) are not reducible to brain activity.
